The discussion thoroughly examined the rules on special places for organizing and holding peaceful assemblies, terms of submission and consideration of notifications and applications, the list of documents attached to the notification and statement. In addition, the focus of discussion was the rules concerning grounds for termination of peaceful Assembly, as well as responsibility for violation of legislation of order of organization and holding peaceful assemblies.
His opinion was shared by Director of “Kazakhstan international Bureau for human rights and the rule of law,” Yevgeny Zhovtis, social activist Mukhtar of Taigan, a political scientist Yerlan Sairov, Chairman of the Public Council at the Ministry of internal Affairs of Kazakhstan Marat Kogamov and others.
The discussion of the bill will continue in the framework of the meetings of the committees of the Majilis working groups and round tables via the modern means of information communication.
