The European Union called the 14 countries whose nationals from 1 July will be allowed to enter the territory of the bloc, reports the BBC.
This list does not include Kazakhstan, Russia, USA, China and Brazil, the only one present in this post-Soviet country — Georgia. Meanwhile, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in the world, exceeded 500 thousand, revealed more than 10 million cases of infection Covid-19.
The decision by the European authorities, “safe” from the point of view of the spread of coronavirus are recognized: Algeria, Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, Montenegro, Morocco, New Zealand, Rwanda, Serbia, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia and Uruguay. It is expected that this list can still be amended, it will be reviewed every two weeks.
According to diplomatic sources, China can be included in the number of safe countries, if Chinese authorities give the same rights to Europeans.
Britain formally withdrew from the EU, but it maintains with the EU common policy during the transition period at least until 31 December of this year. Therefore, British citizens have the same rights as EU citizens.
