As reported Kolesa.kz, this year in Almaty is planned:

  • the construction of the interchange at the intersection of Seifullin St. Zhansugurov;
  • punching Tlendiyev street from transport interchange on the Avenue Ryskulov;
  • punching Sain str from Ryskulov Ave to St. Akyn Sara;
  • reconstruction of street of Voroshilov from Ryskulov Ave to St. Akyn Sara with the transport interchange at Ryskulov Ave.;
  • punching Mukanov str from Gogol street to Raiymbek Ave with reconstruction of the interchange at Raiymbek;
  • construction to allow left-turn tunnel building under Nazarbayev, Suyunbay Ave.;
  • reconstruction of Auezov street in Kalkaman micro-district (the project will be implemented after the construction of the metro line);
  • punching Abay Ave. from Momyshuly street to Auezov street in Kalkaman micro-district, (this project will be implemented after the construction of the metro line);
  • reconstruction of the Northern ring from Ryskulov Ave to St. Bokeikhanov;
  • construction of interchange on crossing al-Farabi — Remizovka;
  • reconstruction of the motor road Almaty — Bishkek to BARM with bringing the highway to six lanes;
  • the extension of Ryskulov Ave and St. Akyn Sara from the city boundary to the BARM;
  • reconstruction of the motor road Almaty — Kokpek — Kostanay — Koktal to BARM with bringing the highway to six lanes;
  • reconstruction of the highway Almaty — Talgar — Yevgen’yevka and Almaty — Shamalgan — Uzynagash to BARM with bringing parameters to four lanes;
  • the continuation of Tlendiyev street from the border of Almaty to BARM;
  • the construction of Abay Ave. and Ave and the ring (from the border to Almaty BAKAD).

It also assumes the construction of three new bus stations with Parking lots for 5 thousand cars. In addition, continued expansion of the metro and work on projects LRT and BRT.
