The head of state received the Minister of foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has met with Kang Kyong Hwa, which is in Nur-Sultan to participate in the work of the 12th session of the Forum “Central Asia – Republic of Korea”, the press service informs.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the current state and prospects of bilateral strategic partnership and discussed the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level.
The head of state noted the high dynamics of the Kazakh-South Korean trade, investment and technological cooperation and cultural and humanitarian ties.
“The visit of your President in April of this year was very productive. The program “Fresh wind”, which was signed during this visit is very important from the point of view of giving an additional impulse to development of cooperation between our countries. We are interested in further expanding cooperation in the sphere of economy and business”, — said K. Tokayev.
In turn, the South Korean diplomat conveyed greetings from President moon Jae-In and confirmed readiness to further deepen partnership with Kazakhstan, both bilaterally and on a regional basis.
“We look forward to your visit to our country next year. The results of the visit of my President in Kazakhstan became very fruitful. Achieved in the framework of this visit the agreement outlined specific areas for enhancing cooperation, which have successfully implemented the relevant bodies of our States. Everything develops in the right direction. We will make every effort to make your visit to South Korea has opened new horizons of our cooperation,” said Kang Kyung Hwa.
