The head of state Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev met in Yerevan with Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.
During the meeting the sides discussed issues of bilateral trade and economic partnership and cooperation in the transport and logistics sector, reports the press service of Akorda.
Tokayev, in addition to expressing gratitude for hospitality and high level of organization of the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian economic Council, noted established a trusting dialogue between the two countries.
“Kazakh people shows the people the warm feeling. The desire to develop relations between our countries is very large. We need to pay special attention to trade and economic cooperation. More work is needed and to seek additional opportunities,”
Pashinyan expressed confidence in further strengthening of Kazakh-Armenian cooperation in the sphere of economy.
“Our trade and economic relations have recently intensified. But I think our potential is much more. We need to work on the realization of this potential, the Eurasian economic Union opens new opportunities for our countries,” –
said the Prime Minister.
